I had a good DVD player, so it only played a couple new Blue Rays and no DVDs. It has played less than 10 movies. It is basically new. The unit will no longer read either Blue Ray discs or DVDs. It recognized all the drives connected to the seagate network adapter. and played all the various video formats.
