I bought this player after my upconverting DVD player remote control work of arrest, which gave me a good excuse to upgrade. For the price of this player can not beat. The picture quality is great, the upconverting looks good, and the sound is too big. The menus, installation and features are very user-friendly. The start-up times are good, and I noticed no waiting time, some have mentioned. The lack of some features that would be nice, like the ability to stream Netflix. Although I have a Netflix account, I would setup via Wi-Fi (not available with this player), and I do not think I would use that often a problem.
My main concern when choosing a Blu Ray for compatibility with DVD recordable (DVD + R or DVD-R). I have many movies standard recordable discs and wanted to make sure that I would be able to view them on your player. This player plays my DVDs without problems included standard. The problem with the reader not to continue the movie as if you press pause to stop, unlike a hard problem. I stopped a few movies, also put the player, and started from where the movie stopped. The remote does not have an eject button, I still feel I remove the disk, so this is not a problem for me.
If you want a player with great image quality and the basic elements for a good price, so do not think you can go wrong with this player.
